Concerning to the story and the beginning, the fort looks pretty undamaged... and as mentioned not really dangerous, no visible cannons at all. But the artwork itself looks nice. I really like the clouds in CMI.
Well it wasn't drawn to be damaged. I had to design it first and damage it latter after the this one had been approved by Larry Ahern, the Project Leader on it.
This was an early deisgn for the fort in Curse of Monkey Island, Figured I better put up a bright and happy image to counter mister ghoul below.
